SCAM - Claims to be a legitimate Loan company. Some how have my details emailed 'undisclosed recipients' and then CC in my email. I called the number back the other day to receive abuse calling me an f**cking b*tch etc because I asked them to stop calling me.

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.
