Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all). This is a company based in Mumbai trading as Web to Wealth. Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.

Definitely a scam, automated call stating my National Insurance number was at risk of being put on hold due to it being linked to illegal activity.

Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!

Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.
