This number just called me, and despite entries saying this is the Microsoft scam, and other fakey company fakes, this call was from "Go Green Energy Survey", a "genuine government department" wanting to know about my energy usage and supplier. When challenged, they said it was not a survey and they were not selling anything. Then stop wasting my time, stupid call centre man with fake name! Immediately called back, hung up on them.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! this call comes from the all inclusive club trying to sell cheap holidays at all inclusive hotels. Once you have bought into the scheme they bombard you with calls trying to get more money out of you. its impossible to ring back on the number to tell them to stop ringing as well, as you get the "line discontinued" tone.
