Called me today and I called them back as it was my home area code. It was a company called Alia. I said I'd already claimed PPI back and he was saying that if I did so before 2013 I could be entitled to more. He wasn't unpleasant but I had to be abrupt in the end to get him to understand I wasn't interested!

They confirmed (!) I had taken out a loan with Barclays in 2004 and I was due £3850 in PPI. They would deliver a cheque to my address. Of course there was no such loan - they knew I knew - we collaborated in the fairy tale up to the point they asked

Same location they calling me from again, but with a totally different number, and an Asian woman speaking, could not talk as got a sore throat, what is this company doing calling me from London, I blocked their number they first called me on. If this carries on I will be reporting them to the relevant authorities for harrassment, don't need it when I am not well.

Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!
