My phone rang at about 13.17 today (14.06.2018, and it took about 12/15 seconds for me to each the phone just as it stopped ringing .I dialled 1471 and then Googled the number. I do not know who was the caller and certainly not a number known to me so I assume that it was spam. I live on the Isle of Man and am an OAP.

18 Oct 2021 - Received a call from this number stating that they are from HMRC but it’s some robot talking so I pressed 1 to see where they are calling from. A woman answered stating she’s from HMRC couldn’t give me anymore detail, then kept asking for my name when I was called from them? So surely they should know my name. It some foreign guy from some IT company missed the name trying to tell you that everytime you go on internet that getting stuff downloaded that can effect your computer documents etc. I played along with him for a bit he asks you to type msconfig in run box the go services then tries to tell you that various things should be running /stopped etc. When I asked what he propsed to do about it he said he would cnnect my comp to his IT guuy com at that point I said not a chance he was rude and said my comp woul
