This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases accident claims). For sure some general call centre. SCAM 01482680047 pretending to be from the police to gather feedback and follow up an incident that had happened, this case was closed weeks ago so I knew this was a scam straight away. I don't know who this is. It called my landline and said it was an SMS message and to press 1 to listen to it, press 2 & 3 for other things and press 4 to delete. I pressed 1 but it just kept repeating the message, I then pressed 4 and it carried on in the loop as experienced by others. Very annoying. The number also came up as 03333440000 !
I received the text a few time saying "Lloyds Bank Please call us on 08081014462 about your bank account. Thank you” I checked the lloyds bank website for a phone number and called them and they said they didn’t contact me at all and 08081014462 isn’t their number and DO NOT contact that number any question call the official Lloyds number.
