Guy called from 03451128876 today 27/06/2018 claiming to be with BT; "just wanting to see if there was a better deal they could offer me." Knew my name. Lot of background noise. I politely interrupted his spiel to advise him that I'd already received similar calls from his colleagues in the past and that I was perfectly happy with my present deal. He equally politely said that was OK and wished me a good day. Possibly a scam (?) but I'm not going to take the conversation far enough to find out.

The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. What file? Are they dumb? However, the real culprits are the people selling them the telephone numbers in the first place.
