I was asked to call the number for a validity check. Number rings and then when answered goes quiet. My number is withheld, so that s why they will not talk. These are Agents, probably working for Energy Consultants. The prices they get for you will include a significant commission. They will lie and harass you into agreeing contracts. My advise, negotiate your own Energy deals directly. It is far far cheaper. By calling the Supplier directly, you are not paying some conmen for doing nothing more th

SCAM / SPAM Called me using a computer generated voice claiming to be from the HMRC. Claimed there was tax fraud in my name. Said if I didn't press 1 immediately to speak to someone an arrest warrant would be issued in my name. At this point I burst out laughing and cut the call!

This sounds very dodgy from the start but I played along, chatting with a lady with a foreign accent. It's eventually got to the stage where she asked me for my bank account and sorting code, at which point I asked her a very personal question. She then swore at me and hung up. She had mentioned postcode lottery, and assured me that I had won a European holiday and £399 in cash at one point she said the company was called something like travel and leisure.
This number threatens to suspend your Paypal Account with a link to User Terms. it is Spam and very Dangerous

SCAM Claimed to be from Currys / PC World offered an iPhone 13 Pro Max for £35 per month unlimited calls, data and texts. I asked why it was so cheap and they said it was a limited, local promotion not available online or instore. I asked for more details and they said they would email them to me.
