He sounded as though he was abroad, couldn t say my last name and asked if I remembered having an accident two years ago as he could help me get compensation. I asked why he would be interested in getting compensation for me and told me he was the Motor Insurer Bureau and that was what they did. I told him I was a solicitor (which I am) and I knew what the MIB did and he didn t sound like he was calling from there. He then

Male called stating he was from an Accident Investigation Department asking if we had contacted him regarding a collision, I asked him to clarify what company he was calling from and he kept repeating the Accident Investigation Department. When I challenged that is a department not a company name, he said he was working on behalf of solicitors. I asked again details of exactly who he was working for an he hung up. This is aqua credit card. They called because I had attempted to make a large transaction. They asked me if I made that transaction and two other recent transactions. They knew who the transactions were with and for how much, and the caller addressed me by name. Basically, I’m convinced it was really them. To verify they were talking to me, I was asked for the first line of my address and postcode, my date of birth and the first two letters of my memorable information.

Just block the number I have. I never answer numbers that look premium calls. I have also blocked numerous loan shark text messages somewhere in the region of 250+ since November of October of last year.
