I received a call from this number saying my washing machine was out of warranty as I consider warranties are not worth having due to so companies going out of business I never take advantage of them plus the appliance was brought years ago, I consider it a bit late plus I always check a number out once the call has been made and considering there is no record of it, it has got to a scam caller :-)

I am fed up of calls from this number and they try to use almost blackmail tactics to engage in conversation, for eg so I guess your mortgage is paid off then is it ha ha! Not nice but I end up simply putting the phone down.

SCAM

This is a scamming company posing as Barclays. I received a text from them saying a transfer of £4000 was attempted from my account and that I need to call them asap if I didn't authorise the transfer. You will know this is a scam as they won't address you by the name on your account

Company called AMS Nationwide calling to offer compensation. Calls every week.

Offers opportunity to press various digits to speak to one of their representatives. This number is given by 1471 after the call is teminated." Unidentified caller. When called there is a message "The number you have dialled has not been recognised. Please check and dial again."
