This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with insurance marketing - ambulance chasers.

Yes. I had a WhatsApp message on my mobile at 7:26pm on 13/4/18 saying call them within 24 hours or my number gets transferred per "my request" to another device. As I didn't notice this message until just now (9pm on 13/4/18) when I got an incoming call just fine, it was a bit of a clue to look up the number indicated before dialling it! Ignore and/or report to your mobile provider or other anti-scammer service.

Two calls today, both with Asian sounding operators claiming to be from BT. They are not. Don't give these scammers anything, not even the time of day. OFCOM, are you listening? You need to do something about these cold callers. They have obviously found a way to use a geographic number which are not automatically blocked by most cold call prevention measures.

This number is for Go Assist and their freephone number is 0800 8654 111. They sell extended warranties and repairs - basically your item breaks and then they fix it within the extended warranty period. They are massively expensive - Cheaper to go to original manufacturer or call in domestic and general or something like that. I was quote £350 for a repair but they could turn it into t warranty if I was good to them. I told them where to go and yet they keep calling me.
They said they were my mobile phone provider and could offer me a free upgrade and bill reduction. I asked them to confirm which company they were calling from and they hung up.
