My wife went through this and they are evil. they clearly have some access to HMRC they threaten you with jail and then ring off and ring back as a Police Man saying they are sending a van round to your house. they claim to know where you live by geolocating you report to Action Fraud - its your duty.

Caller pretending to be from BT about internet speed - sounds like the usual scammers! Could not give me the name of who he wanted to speak to - just wanted me to get infront of a laptop etc. Hung up when i asked who he wanted to speak to - for the 3rd time.

BPC want to claim my PPI I don t have. The "agent" wouldn t take no for an answer, refused to remove my number and claimed to know I had finance and credit cards outstanding (wrong on both accounts). Could hear cheers and clapping in the background as presumably someone actually gave in to them. Hung up and blocked.
