This happened to me as well I was taken in by these scammers who promised me loan. I feel very upset by this that I have reported them to the Trading Standards

Unsolicited call so need to know who they are (cold callers?) before returning call. They did nit leave a message

male with a first name only asked for address and said to call on BEHALF of the (Edinburgh) Council. He was not aware that I moved and wanted to continue CONFIRMING personal data. Because the caller didn t want to say company and reason, I asked them to write me a letter.

had a very nice call fron a man with a very thick indian accent called Mike Robertson who refused to give me any details about the company he works for so just wasted 30 mins of his day refusing to give him any of my details finally got the company name out of him called choose lifestyle in the end he gave up looking forward to the next call to waste more of their time

Another call from this number silent then hung up.. I believe this is due to previous calls when I have kept them on the line for 30 mins plus pretending to check my computer and blocking their attempts to try and do anything before informing them I have scammed them and dont actually have a computer.. and laughing loudly as they terminate the call with some abuse.. idiots

Asked me for my address, which they said was wrong, and kept asking for my previous addresses, saying it will be a previous address and can I confirm my previous addresses. Declined to give them anything further - asked them what it was about, they declined to say anything except "an account" and asked for my username. The first thing I say to any number that calls me and starts by stating my name and asking if it is me... "Who is calling?", no response.

Been getting a few calls from this number over the last month, got fed up and answered, all I got was a robot voice saying goodbye before the call disconnected. Was pretty creepy and in general didn t appreciate all the attempts. From what I ve heard these guys are scam artists who atleast have access to vodaphone customer s information, though I m on orange, not the only one on this network to recieve a call from this number, so they most likely have access to their customer database aswell.
