Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. I received a 'phone call from 02034326587. A gentleman with an Indian accent, who knew my first name, tried to sell me something about cryptocurrencies, whether it was a course or an investment opportunity I don't know as I replied that it wasn't anything I was interested in. Despite that, he was quite persistant, until I asked him where he had got my name and number, at which point the line went dead.
Fraud SMS from 07723630445 at 16:48 Wednesday 7 April 2021 giving text G- [7 digit number] is your Google verification code. Not sure why this came up as it's not from any valid Google authentication service - maybe they are just testing to see if there is a valid phone number?

This number called this morning didn t reach the phone in time so rang back later. Guy told me that we were owed PPI I told him that we were not. He said that my information wasn t in front of him at the moment so I would get another call but just tell them not to call again.

Received a call this morning from this number, supposedly from HMRC. I realised it was a scam immediately and dropped. It would be unusual for HMRC to place automated “robotic” calls.
