Scam pretended to be virgin media n wanted to confirm account name i said Paul (not real name) n he agreed that was right n also I don't even have a virgin media contract ln any name from my household
Someone sent a msg to me from this number, saying they were one of my kids, and called me mum.
Fraud American accent, pre-recorded message saying it was HMRC and there was a problem with my tax record. Told me that in order to avoid jail I needed to sort this out immediately and had to press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Potentially very threatening for anyone who didn’t recognise it as a scam. Google search reveals that if I had pressed 1 my call might have been rerouted to a different country and I could have faced hefty phone charges.

10/03/22 at 10.37am. I answered with hello. A man said; "I'm fine and if somebody has complained about me I'm fine. Goodbye" He then hung up. He sounded angry. I have no idea what this call was about. To-date (in the 27 years I have had this number) I have never had a 'wrong number' type of call, as far as I am aware it is not similar to any local business/official numbers!
They was call me regarding damages housing and is scamed becouse the case nothing have deal with me and I was understand instead this is scam and her voice sounds Indian accent and I was ignored her and I was insulted her so many many time and I was block her nomber but this lady still call me I taead of this rubish enocence scamed.

Fraud VERY aggressive woman insisting we needed more and safer insulation as ours was old - Told her it's brand new (which it is) and she hung up on me. We are TPS registered, too, so there's nothing legitimate about this call
This number is unknown to me. Caller left sms message pretending to be my relative to contact them on WhatApps! On 07916497821 I know that this is SPAM as I received similar calls before!

I had missed call on my mobile. I phoned the number from a land-line, and at first there was no answer. It went straight to Vodafone answerphone. I phoned a second time, and a man with a foreign accent answered. I asked who it was but he just said "You phoned me!" He then asked what company I was phoning from. He was quite rude and abrupt. Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.

Claimed to be from EE offering me an upgrade, either £7 sim only, or £30 unlimited calls/data and an iPhone 14+ for £30, both deals too good to be true! Pushed them to send me the information, got the customer service version of ~what's to think about, just pick one! so I hung up.

This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.
