Has been calling repeatedly and today was the first time I answered. It was a recording of a female voice. The message said that my national insurance number had been compromised due to fraudulent(?) activity. It went on to say that I should press 1 otherwise action will be brought against me. I didn’t press 1 and hung up.

'Ah yes, my colleague must have called you, please hold on...*moments silence* 'oh yes, I am afraid he has just gone to a meeting, I would be happy to take details and forward it to him.' Very pushy for details-despite them calling you. WOULD NOT trust these scammers.

This is a work mobile which is only used for calling work.....there is no fraud on the account.....therefore I would say this is dangerous
Had a call from this number today 28/11, Regarding a Barclays business a/c, claiming to have sent me a letter - he had not. Some little black urchin from Bongo Bongo land requesting bank details!! Do have a business a/c active, but couldnt tell me a/c nos or where a/c held. Told the little grub to get a job and pack in attempted theft. It defies belief with the telephone technology available vulnerable people cannot be protected from the tactics of human dross.
