Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.

Pretending to call on behalf of the DVLA. Wanting to know if I owned a diesel car in return for compensation. I didnt confirm. Knew my first name. Got aggressive and refused to remove my details from the database. Threatened me with more calls. Blocked and reported.
