Very rude man wants myself and my wife to take out advertising and also to give out personal details about ourselves. When I said no he threatened to kill us and said he was entitled to have our details. Has now phoned 22 times in 3 hours. Treat carefully.

it seems a survey company , usually an Indian man/woman , surprised its London , more like Mumbai .

Constantly calling and different times of day on my mobile. Now installed Truecall app which blocks them the instant they call, along with a huge list of other annoying companies.

AMAZON - trying to find out if this is SPAM, they rang me saying there was international activity on my account and text me a verification code to my phone asking me to read it out. I said i wasn't happy to carry on the call as I don't know they are who they say they are.

I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.

Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.

As soon as he started to speak l hung up he then continually called me each time l declined the call on my mobile ... He called so many times ..whilst at work I blocked the number .. Harassed continually by them ...don t answer the call in fact block the number if you can

Missed Call - Called Back - And the same PPI S**t. The lady started off asking personal details, which I didn t reveal and asked what it is about. She doesnt want to listen when I said I am not interested and she can take off my name from her database. Am now receiving atleast 1-2 calls a day and 3-4 sms messages from various people/companies and I think it has crossed the limits to be tagged as harassment. Am not sure what OFCOM is doing about it.
