Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. I was called today, January 20 th 2021, the automated voice claimed to be calling from The UK Crime Agency stating that there had been a number of illegal activities involving my National Insurance Number and so it would be suspended and a new one issued when I dialled 1 to sleak to an official, I hung up.
1 day agoThis number is pretending to be NHS. They sent me a link to enter and "apply" for my NHS COVID Pass. The message also says "Failure to apply may result in a fine". And the link that they sent ends in .com and not in .ukReply
