SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.
This was an automated call from amazon asking me to press 1 for info about my renewal.
Early morning call, allegedly from Amazon about my order for an iPhone 12. Needless to say, I'd placed no such order!
Suspect this is a spam call. Message left on answerphone was generic in that no person was identified. Stated that two sums of money taken from my account - no mention which account. The information was false. Wanted me to make contact with them.

I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever.
