This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.
So far this evening this number has called 3 times. No conversation at all. It has also called repeatedly over the past month again no conversation on pick up. Sick to death with it.!

wanted my son, who has not lived here for 10 years, tried to get his details from me, stating input error. If my son wanted them to contact him he certainly would not have given a number he hasn t used for 10 years. They said they had a mobile no and wanted to check if it was still in use but due to data protection, couldnt give me what they had, but could check off the number I have for him. Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.
Seem to be many scam calls using bridgnorth area code. This number phoned mobile but did not leave message when left un-answered. I tend not to pick up unexpected numbers.

Called my aging father and said they were calling about an existing insurance policy for kitchen appliances.. one that we had and it needed renewed. He holds another policy with a well known company and it wasn't them. They were insistent that he had to renew it and he eventually hung up on them.
