Recorded message purporting to come from BT saying I needed to phone their engineer or my Internet connection would be cut off. As I don't have Internet connection through BT, obviously a scam!

They rang saying they could get me a refund for PPI. I said I wasn t old enough to need anything like that and to remove me from the list, they then demanded to know my DOB, and became rude when I told them it was none of their business and to take me off the list. I hung up in the end and blocked the number.
This number phoned regarding continuing my washing machine breakdown insurance. I am sure I do not have insurance with them so I don't know where they got my details. I am insured with domestic and general for this. They didn't seem to know any details regarding the machine. Might be a scam but will give it a neutral for now. Be careful..

Called twice and asked for Sky account holder. I told them I couldn t speak then but to call back later. The number looks legit but when I tried to check it out there was a message saying the callers message box was full - not good. They did call back as suggested but then no-one was on the line.

Sadly this IS British gas I phoned them and they admitted that yes they do make presumptive appointments for smart meter installs with the onus on the customer to cancel them The appointment was also on my British Gas online account There is currently NO obligation to have smart meters installed Sadly you cant cancel the appointment online you have to phone them Ive not cancelled yet but put my details in an online complaint and instructed them to cancel it If need be Ill make the call before the appointmen

Also similar number called me recently - 7011772226 and 7011772227, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... Spoke to someone who called on this number reporting they were calling from ee. Appeared to know details of my account. Offered three separate offers which I declined. Was not suspicious as the gentleman was very polite and courteous at all times, however received two further calls today. First one I answered and when I said I was at work she kept talking. 2nd u left unansweref. A bit of a nuisance so I have now blocked the number

Tried calling the number back and states "Number is not in Service" so can only guess call center of some sort using a number that cannot accept incoming calls, hence Negative rating especially as they didn't leave a voice message
TAXES / HMRC scam. Robo caller claiming that I'm the subject to tax evasion investigations and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. Pressed a number to speak to someone with a heavy indian accent called Alfred Collins who was a tax investigator for HMRC. I laughed in his ear and hung up.
