We have been called twice by this number. It is a digitally-generated message, not a human, stating that it is from HMRC and that an arrest warrant has been generated. The call was closed by our answering machine before it could be completed. There was the start of a list of options. My 10 year old answered the phone and was extremely worried that the police were going to be on our doorstep. I'm sure that it's a scam...at least I hope so.

I told him I wouldn t as I didn t know who I was talking to. He asked for two minutes of my time and when I told him No he banged the phone down.
