i do not like the way this company operates. Service reps do nott turn up for appointments and when they eventually do so they try aggressive sales techniques to get you to enter a contract even though they have been told not at the outset that I do not want one. Repeated calls yesterday afternoon and evening. No one there when I answered. My phone now un-plugged.
SCAM Pretending to be from D&G (Domestic and general) about my washing machine cover. Told me the price had gone down and just needed my sort code to identify it was the correct account. Gave him that and then he wanted the account number. Said it had to be done for my protection as it was a new direct debit for the new amount. “What can we do with just those numbers? We can’t take money.” Obviously they can and I said no. He still went on so I hung up. Checked my account online and dates didn’t ch
Seems to be a Foreign Exchange scam. A London number, but the callers are Albanian or Cypriots.
