Called me up saying they were from "Support Assist" and understood I had recently been in an accident. After it transpired that this was not the case, the charming man on the other end of the line said "you fucking idiot" and hung up. Tried to call them back to glean a little more information - an automated message tells you to email [email?protected] - which bounces back. I will track them down eventually.
caller started with a new strategy i had not heard before: 'do you get a lot of PPI nuisance calls? i can explain why and make it stop if you answer a few questions' . I asked to be removed from database and that they stop calling. Caller was very insistent.

I also had a text from this number claiming to be from Whats App and saying that I had requested to transfer my number to a different device (I hadn't) and to ring this number if I hadn't. Looked like a scam to me! Calls up to £3.60 a minute?! Just ignore/report it! Whats App should notify users that this is circulating as it has obviously been reported to them by other users
