I have been called on about six occasions stating that I was involved recently in an motor accident and before I let them go on I told them no and then hung up. Being fed up with keep getting these calls I tried to phone it back only to find out that it is an invalid number. Obviously some sort of scam.

I get one or two calls from this number a day, this has been going on for weeks. Twice I've phoned back and they said they are Co-Op Bank. I said I'm not comfortable talking to them as they called me. They said they really need to speak to me but I need to go through security first, and that I can call from an alternative number if I'd like to. I have now blocked them.

Indian man with strong accent rabbled on about claims...told him i dont have any PPI or charges ect....his reply was " No miss Lesley we are not...oh my god!" He then went silent I replied "Oh my god??" But he had hung up before I believe he had heard me! Tried to call back as by now i was Fuming, but the message tells you who they are and that the call is not important and they will try later!....cant wait for a call back! Smh...#Veryangry.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back.
