Had a call out of the blue from a caller who simply gave their name as Joseph and asking if the business takes Credit Cards and Amex but with no further information requested regarding the services. Sounds Dodgy.
An automated message - has called me numerous times over the past week. I ve tried pressing 9 to opt out. Makes no difference at all, so this time spoke to someone by pressing 5 . Apparently they will remove my number -takes up to 48 hours. Definately the most persist nuisance call I ve ever had.

Claimed to be from "phone house company" offering sim and phone deals. When I said I was not interested and to take me off the calling list, they kept interrupting me and trying to push the sale. I have had other calls from similar numbers (only last 4 digits different) during the day as well. Blocked.

A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. It was an automated message saying that I had an outstanding balance and an arrest warrant was issued for my arrest and I should press 1 to speak to a representative about it. This is an absolute scam, do NOT call or press 1.

People I talked to from London had no accent at all, the people from Denmark spoke English although I'm Danish, this screams VPN aka. SCAM.
