If my son wanted them to contact him he certainly would not have given a number he hasn t used for 10 years. They said they had a mobile no and wanted to check if it was still in use but due to data protection, couldnt give me what they had, but could check off the number I have for him. I told them the same, if he wanted them, he would have left his own home no and if they genuinly had his mobile then

This number called me twice this morning. When I called back, I got a pre-recorded message saying they would call me back another time. I had exactly the same from them last year and asked them to remove me from their database then, request obviously ignored.

They tried to tell me that the telephone preference service had ceased.

Called as TalkTalk, said the broadband connection would be off in 2 hours due to corrupt files from my computer! Told her she was talking XXXXX & put phone down.

This number called and said I had a problem with my computer i said I didn’t have one she then asked if I had a laptop i said no I have a iPad she hung up this is another scam

I was a little bored so gave them a fictitious name, a real address, loads of BS about Credit Cards I got; even telling him I d had refunds and my 8% interest too, but he insisted I was still entitled to more. Told me it was no win, no fee but if they did get anything then they got 30% plus VAT; that s 1/3 of the claim. So he took all my details and then passed me through to a colleague who then went through all the same questions again to confirm the details and that I was to sign the forms

This is a total scam. Microsoft would never call you out of the blue, an 0208 number is no where near Reading, and the second number looks like a total invention.
