As usual, when I was hard at work on something important that needed concentration, I got this call again. The usual recorded voice addressed me as "Dear customer". Before turning to Tellows I looked it up on another site and found there had been 169 complaints about it there alone in a few days. Surely the authorities can do something about this, or are the perpetrators so clever they cannot be traced? I hope they are, and that they will get their deserts for their criminal behaviour.
They started calling yesterday and today have rung times. How do we stop it pls?

Called saying I was involved in an accident. I told them i had blocked several other numbers from which they call from and then they started yelling in the phone. Very harassing! Don't answer!!

Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

Received a Smart Call from a caller ID as Phillipa who promptly advised that she was returning my call. Knowing that i did not make the call, i advised her accordingly but she became argumentative at which point i immediately cut the call. Later received a message from +447415200189 "dont call this number again" . I NEVER called this number and suspect it was a type of SCAM call?????
