Automated message told me my internet provider was going to disconnect me due to illegal activity within 24 if I didn't speak to a director. Told me to select 1 to speak to them.

this is a BT call scam .... internet is compromised BT will cut off land line and internet in 24 hours

I don t wish anymore calls from them otherwise I will be reporting them to Auction Fraud.

It is money expert and they are legit. Nothing to do with the journalist Martin Lewis s site. They will be following up something you have applied for or enquired about at some point online. Unfortunately whatever you register for they always want a number so there s a lesson to us all. Don t give out your number if you don t want to be called!!!! Ringing 3 times a day over ebay fees not paid due to a dispute. Had settled matter with ebay directly before the calls started. Good thing iphones have a block number facility :)

Guy called and could hardly speak English. Just keep asking him to repeat himself until he hung up. If you keep asking these people questions back they always hang up.

Call made from Liverpool but caller had a foreign accent, she tried to make me change my phone provider saying she could find a cheaper provider. elsewhere. She was very persistent even after telling her I had just signed up with another provider and was under contract. Said her name was Angela Mayer.
