SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.
Recorded message from 'my bank' no name mentioned. Says suspicious activity on my account and press 1 to be put through to an advisor. Obvious scam.
Missed call No message or text. Called back, message said "state your name and say 6". I said "Sydney James Six" a couple of times but nothing happened. Why would I tell someone my real name so they could associate it with my phone number? Sounds very suspicious

This number is the sender for a text message from Apple telling me my Apple Pay account has been suspended due to unusual activity. I’m not clicking on the attached link as it’s suspicious….but will report to Apple for their take on it.

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Judging by other reviews, they’re looking scam money from you. This is a new direction. SCAM

Scam! Making out he was from Ryanair!!! Wanted me to sceeen record online bank! Wanted my bank card details for no reason I was about to give my NatWest card and he said do you have a Monzo card!!!! Automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, and requiring urgent action. In my opinion, if it was genuine they'd write to you, or email, not vague automated phone messages. I think this is a phishing spam call.
