Scam. Got a text message saying "Mum my screenn has gone after I dropped my mobile. Could you txt my new numb 07546174812". I don't have any kids.
They will call you and claim there is a problem with your internet. When asked they are unable to confirm the name of your provider and will suddenly say Sky. When challenged they said I was a F------ Liar and procedd to hang up.

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! The caller had a very thick south Asian accent and claimed to be from "my network" - I didn't catch which one - and that I could benefit from an "offer". I cut the call and blocked the number.

Rang me claiming to be from ‘social housing’, I queried which one and she said ‘the council’. Told her to stop harassing me and she starts saying ‘you’re no one, who do you think you are telling me what to do’. She not so politely got told where to go.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up.
