Called and hung up after 2 rings. Did not leave message. Can't have been that important then. Just annoying!

Then tried to sell me external cladding insulation. Told her to sod off and I would be reporting the call as a nuisance. She then went on to try and sell me a new gas boiler.

SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.

Fraud Caller claimed to have my dog when I clearly don't have a dog. Said that my number was on its collar.
SCAM call asking to speak to a person who doesn't exist at my address - when asked who was calling, he said he was calling about the washing machine warranty that's expired and he was calling to offer a renewal. I asked him what washing machine and he said 'the washing machine manufacturer's warranty - i.e. didn't answer the question. I asked him who the company was and he said PYG - when I said, never heard of them, no such person as you requested and we're on the telephone preference list, he hung up.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. I managed to keep this caller on the line for about 10 minutes. I was told they were to help with Windows problems. I asked for an address and was given 15 Victoria Street London. The helpline number is 0800 031 4414. The first person was female with a foreign accent and mentioned Las Vegas USA then South East Asia and India when I asked where their base was.
