Caller with what sounded like an indian accent asked for the householder -they got name of the householder wrong so clearly their database [ no idea where they got it ] is corrupted . The number appearing on my phone was a N Ireland area code but she sounded anything but irish. When Isaid there was one of that name here , they hung up tartly . [ I think I ve been contacted by this Co. before but using an alternative no , as the wrong name they quoted has been used before by other cold callers ].

Claimed to be from BT and got quite aggressive when challenged on this. This appears to be a computer scam because they mentioned browsers and email.

Telemarketing company selling Life insurance. I was ignored when i advised i was at work. I was ignored when I said I didn t want the product. I was ignored when i requested to be taken off their call list. I was ignored when i said a had multiple health issues so cover would be worthless. This number called my landline then called my mobile immediately afterwards, so they obviously had my details rather than calling random numbers. I don t answer to numbers I don t recognise and they didn t leave a message on either my answerphone or my voicemail, so I ve no idea who it was.
