Called at 20.15PM on June 6th 2017. Knew name and address. They said they left an energy tester! Also they would be calling for it tommorrow. We said no not interested. They then nastily said we will be there at 2pm anyway! I phoned local police. They said harassment caller also the number was a leeds number but the 4 after 0113 is not a leeds number. Missed call from 07529631402 on my 'spare' phone that I only use for online word games and whose number I have only given to O2 during a top-up to maintain the £5 monthly bundle. No one else should know the phone number, unless it has been recycled from a while ago (who knows how long that might be?) or the call may have originated from a phone dialler which was just workjng its way through a sequence.
They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.

I ve just been called by this number, when I picked up the call, there was no sound, no answer, so I ended the call, then got a withheld number calling literally a minute later, which went to voicemail (the message was unintelligable). Then a minute later I got an SMS to my mobile from 08447362490 asking them to call back on that number. Searching that number indicates it s from Link Financial Outsourcing, a debt collection company.
Another Indian (accent) saying that there is a problem with internet and WiFi in your area. Asked if the person could install a (remote access) software / app (eg QuickSupport ) on an iPhone to “protect” the user.
