Safe number. This is not a scam they sent me a text to complete the family and friends survey as I've just been in hospital. I didn't click the link just in case I copied and posted it to Google
This probably isn't safe - the caller didn't even know or ask for my name, simply saying 'it's about breakdown insurance'. Laughable.

SCAM - A robot voice told me that £600 would be sent overseas from my card unless I pressed the '1' key to speak to someone. Didn't say which card, or which bank. I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.

SCAM - Pretending to be O2 (I'm not even with O2) and wanted to send me two text messages so they could give me a 30% discount on my bill. Clearly some sort of phishing attempt.

Very insistent woman claiming that I am due a payment because a 3rd party has admitted fault in a car accident in the past 12 months and I am due my excess back. Did not pursue the call but she effectively wanted me to complete a form over the phone and unwilling to send details in the post or elaborate on any information they hold about me. Unknown caller from Manchester and they never left a message on my answerphone so it must be a scam. It will now be blocked liked a large number of calls recently from 0161 area.

This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. A couple of my friends told me something similar had happened to them
Had a card through the door saying they are from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Court Bailiff Team - called the 01582 506 714 number and it just rings out. At the bottom of the card it says Albany Print and Design, HMP Isle of Wight....pretty certain this is fake!!!
