I received a call from this number today with a message that my master card had been used abroad for a £600 purchase. I was asked to press one to confirm payment. I terminated the call and phoned the number back to be told that the number did not exist. The person was female with a very clear voice and English accent.

The caller stating saying about the RSPCA so I listened to what he was saying and as he went on realised he was going to ask for money, ?10 a month thats all, I said no thanks, then he went on about cruelty to animals and said what about ?1 a week, I still said no thanks, had to hang up in the end

At best this a company that breaks the PECR regulations by calling people on the TPS list. At worst it s a scam preying on older people because they don t seem to have a website and are asking whether you re over 65. We have recently used Reeds Rains and RightMove - not sure which have sold my number to this company.
SCAM this number rang me saying they from virgin media and was telling me that my Internet was being used from multiple locations and that I was going to be disconnected for 5 days. When I said that I will hang up and ring virgin media myself they hung up. Be wary people
