01726 173319 missed call appears to be Cornwall landline. Tried returning call. Buh buh beep tone. Possible short term scam which has been de-activated???

I ve had this number call me several times. Sometimes they have hung up before I can answer, sometimes it is late at night!!!!! Called I’m helped with with my life insurance company. Really useful person on the phone and saved me getting the wrong policy.

I blocked the number but they somehow manage to leave answer machine messages where they just hang up. This has happened every day for a week, since I blocked the number.

Obviously a (badly) spoofed number. London numbers don't start with (020) 1xx, only 020 3xx, 020 7xx, and 020 8xx.
