Call received from a guy calling himself "Albert" from "Capital Vintners"wanting to tell me how good investing in fine wines would be for me. I tried telling him that I was not interested but he kept interrupting me to the point that I had to be rude to him. There is a legitimate company called Capital Vintners Ltd although I doubt very much if this call was from them as the telephone number is from a location in Pontypool and Capital Vintners Ltd have a contact address in London. Had a call today claiming I had down loaded errors every time I was on line. Claimed to be working with Microsoft. He phoned first on 78678600, but phoned me back on 02034665132 as it was a bad line. needless to say I didnt turn my computer on to give him

Asked about an accident I had reported ...I have not been in an accident, they had my name and address also.

He is running a cloned company called swisslifeag and highly sophisticated scammer.

I answered the call & after a few hello's (as no-one was answering me) a foreign man was going on about the government scheme to Wright off over half of my debt. After politely telling him a few times that I wasn't interested (him still prattling on) telling me how much a month I would pay to be debt free in under a year, I said I dont think so & his reply was "oh f**k off"! Very professional hahaha

It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.

PPI claim company

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.

nuisance call

+442039233305 called me 8.9.20 at 12.19 hours. This was a bad computer recorded voice message on a loop, calling themselves Linda, talking about tax avoidance, suggesting I had been doing this. Unfortunately for them I know exactly how much tax I pay and it is already a lot so there is no tax avoidance going on here and we all know the tax office don't call you like this anyway. This is clearly a scam. I hung up after a several seconds because I didn't trust it at all.

Called up with a bad line, and claimed to be in Germany and to have an appointment with one of our Swedish colleagues. Apparently had been given the number for our German office to contact him. Wanted to have the mobile number of the colleague...

Unsolicited call about pensions. Hung up when I told him my pension arrangements were none of his business.
