I receive 2 or 3 calls a day from this number - when I answer the line goes dead and as with Jon, if I try to call back the call doesn t connect.

On answering phone, caller launches into a pre-recorded talk. Doesn t respond to "Hello, who s calling?". very rude. Had this twice this week. Replaced receiver both times.1471 told me it was 01600469009

This number is for C.A.R.S or Creditlink Account Recovery Solutions. They are a genuine debt collection agency so I would suggest speaking to them if they are trying to contact you.

I also bought these spacesaver bags and was consequently charged 99.99 by free time holidays.I contacted TSB fraud dept straight away and they refunded the money within ten minutes I never recieved a brochure or a phone call.Surely something should be done by somebody to stop these awful people.

Answered phone at 09.52 this morning (27/10/16) and was told by a man's voice " I shoud run if I were you".

As soon as he started to speak l hung up he then continually called me each time l declined the call on my mobile ... He called so many times ..whilst at work I blocked the number .. Harassed continually by them ...don t answer the call in fact block the number if you can

Said I would be able to claim up to ?8000 from misselling of mortgages and credit cards. Were very nice at start of conversation which turned nasty when I refused to give ?1100 up front fee. Just a scam!

Direct loan company. Not a scam, you've obviously made an application with them. An 0208 number is a standard landline number and not a premium rate number.

No one on line, probably another scam trying to get you to call back.

A very dubious sounding Rachel left a voicemail on our business number claiming to be from BT requesting an email address for our IT/Office Manager regarding our BT Internet update. We do not have BT Internet!! Yet another dodgy scam to avoid.

Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.

Genuine call regarding my insurance renewal

I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. I been contacted many times in the past few years by these scammers on very similar 0161 939 numbers. If the number is blocked some of these calls then get through on an unknown or withheld number. As our doctors and the hospital withhold their numbers and I have someone Ill in my household I just add annoying numbers to my directory under PITA ......aka pain in the a*** or telemarketers. I then have proof of the frequency of calls and I m aware it s them and don t answer the call. Sorry for long explanation but hopefully it might just help someone.

Didn t say what company it was just a PPI claims managment company claims that they bought details from a marketing database company. Missed-called my phone then only identified themselves when called back. Wouldn t trust any company that uses these sort of dodgy marketing tactics.
