SCAM! Called my mobile and an automated message spoke about a fraud on my credit card. We got cut off. When i tried to call back from a landline the number is not found!

Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

Tried to ask about my (non-existent) life insurance, but couldn't even tell me my address, just the street name.
Claimed to be from O2 and that I was overpaying for my O2 account (I don't use O2). Told me they would offer me a discount with no other changes to be made. Wanted to send a verification number that I was not to share with anyone else "even 02 staff". Hung up when they realised I wasn't falling for it - I strung them along for at least a few minutes.

A lady with a very strong accent told me she was from Microsoft and was ringing about a problem with my computer, I told her I had had these calls before and did not believe her.
Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. Automated call supposedly from my bank saying someone trying to take £900 from my visa card and i should press 1 to stop it.
Just had this text from this number “. Hi mum just texting you on my old ipad to let you know that l've switched network providers. Give me a msg on 07561793183 so I can add your contac... This was definitely not any of my kids
