SCAM CALL claiming FROM "AMAZON". !!!
Fraud SCAM Fraud call that stated my card had been used for two large transactions of £300 Amazon and £1100 international payment. Automated message sounds like it is from the bank, but did not state name of bank, or cardholder. Used another phone to call the number back (out of curiosity). Mobile network sates it is an invalid number, and call made from Ireland, with a London code?

Received a call from an unknown telephone number at 09 42 I was informed that a large amount of money had been taken from my current bank account and they wanted to know my security code etc . My son with special needs got a barrage of calls from this number spoofing police calls that he got involved in a car accident on the M5, another call saying that they are bailiffs saying that they owe them £1,600. Incident reported to the police already. Stay away from this number. They hide using this number so you won’t see their phone number.

They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name

SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Other numbers had reports describing similar calls, supposedly to settle claim for percentage of settlement. No mention of my insurance carrier. Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.
Call center - claiming to be from Block Chain. Got very aggressive when I said they'd already tried me once that day. Told me 'the f**k I have, I'll call you every day and I'll speak to you how I like'. Blocked.
Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition
