These guys called me a couple of times and I answered the call the second time. It was an Indian woman who told me I d won 10 free lucky dips for tonight s euro millions, she then went through my personal details, she knew my email, my address and phone number. Then it went on to a £39.99 lottery syndicate. She then told me she needed my bank name, then sort code to identify the branch. Had a call claiming to be HMRC saying I've committed tax fraud and that action was being taken against me. I was told to press 1 to find out more so I hung up as I have read somewhere that as soon as you press a number, your phone can be hacked or something bad like that. I know for a fact that I haven't committed tax fraud and I don't think HMRC would phone. They usually send letters in the first instance. Therefore I'm flagging this up as dangerous.

Calls me 2/3 times a day landline and mobile. Today decided to pick up to tell them to remove me from their database and I had reported the number for harrassment. They said, it s because we can t get hold of you. I said, put anything you need to in writing and remove me from this list. Woman was surprised and said, "but it s the AA", I said, I don t care who you are! As I don t belong to the AA anyway, I certainly wont be joining them in the future!
