They tried ringing twice -line so bad I couldn't really catch what the person was saying .. but it was something about "thousands of pounds" .. so I'm assuming this was a scam-type call.
Called twice. second time i answered. lady said it was BT checking my line and there was an issue. I hung up. Just didn't seem right.
This number has called me a couple of times. On both occasions the recorded message states that £700 has been taken from my card for Amazon and £2000 for another transaction. It asks you to press different buttons 1 or 2 to authorise or stop the transactions. On both occasions I hung up and checked my bank account and my amazon account. This is a scam. Be aware.

When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I do not have bt broadband - BT can not technically supply it on this old rural line. I get b/band via radio link frmo an idependent provider which has nothing to do with BT.
