Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. HMRC SCAM 07477 169835 - Just received a call from this number purporting to be from HMRC about a letter being returned and threatening legal action and to press One to speak to an officer. Recorded voice message was a female with American accent.
This number was listed to be called to query an obviously fake scam Ebay purchase. Be very careful, don't call this number or they will scam you out of your money doing a fake refund.
