just hung up

When I answered the phone, there is just an awful recorded message saying it’s from Broomfield Hospital & to press a button to hear more. I didn’t know if it was a scam or not as I have had fraudulent calls that sounded like this!! Didn’t press the button just in case as not expecting to hear from the hospital. A text would have been good.

Unsolicited recorded message re boiler repairs. Presumably a bogus number used to circumvent Caller ID checks.

This company calls me up to 5 times per day. When I do answer the call there is silence and then the lines goes dead. This is a real pain

Missed call

Missed a call from these and now i have checked and seen it is another car accident scam company. I keep getting these all the damn time. I thought i had my number blocked but it seems not. These people need to be taught a lesson and more regulations about cold calling need to be implemented and enforced. So sick of these calls.

Just rang me asking loads of questions when I wudnt give the answers was very aggressive disgusting!!!!

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. Indian female voice saying there is a fault on my BT internet line and she would help me fix it! (I am not with BT) I just hung up.

The following steps are suggested:

five calls over two days. four calls hung up before I could answer. On fifth call they knew my surname. I then terminated call.

Claiming to be Amazon - trying to get you to call back by pressing 1 - doubtless an expensive phone line. AVOID

Its ETHICALL. They do fundraising on behalf of other charities by making phone.
