My partner got a call saying he was getting a £1000 loan but wanted him to pay £75..we where going back and forward told my partner it was a scam and to ask them to send contract details over, my partner called him back and told him we didn't want the loan and was told to keep the £75 in his account and was told to f*ck off!! Do not give this man any of your money you WILL be scammed

Phone me saying they were from the MIB and just wanted to make sure everything was above board and asked why I hadn t made a claim. Said I did and, she then asked what treatment I received, I started telling her (thinking it was to do with the claim I had put in to the MIB) then she hung up on me! That s when I googled the number and realised it was a fishing phone call

Silent call, then hang up. Possibly trying to get return call to a premium rate number. I think the number shown on my mobile may be a spoof number to prompt me to reply and be diverted to the premium rate real number. This is the second time in 2 days I have reported a problem. Once to my landline, this one to my mobile. Really getting sick of the extent of the problem. Had 90 junk mails yesterday. Maybe need to change email address and phone numbers, big inconvenience.
