I very rarely pick up the phone from numbers blocked or I don t recognise. This number has shown up several times on my phone, perhaps 8 in the last 3 weeks. They never leave a msg so I assume it s never important, but I wish they d stop.
I had a call from 02084421145 this morning 28/02/2020. It was a recorded message telling me that Amazon Prime was going to take £79 out of my bank account for the annual membership fee. It said if I did not agree then I should press 1 on my phone keypad. I ended the call. I am not an Amazon Prime member!

Told the caller on numerous occasions That I am not a householder Im a council tenant..& please stop calling me.. Automated call - recorded message supposedly from the 'National Crime Agency' - I hung up and blocked the number. They called again a few minutes later from a different number - now also blocked.

This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.
This is HSBC s fraud department number and the call was genuine.
