Missed call I just got to the phone in time for it to stop ringing. Not a recognised number, not in my contacts list, not from anywhere that I know anyone. I therefore conclude someone was trying to scam me.
SCAM: they claim to be representing a client who is planning a wholesale takeover of Vodafone plc, but won't give their name of their client's name. The potential price they claim you could get for your shares puts the company valuation at many multiples of its real value.

Got a call very early in the morn, early for me that is, so I was half a sleep, from a man with a Northern Irish Accent from 03002003884 asking about corporation tax payable, he knew many details including my turn over, he asked me to confirm my date of birth and address, I did this, all of this is of course available on the Company's House website. This is a genuine NHS number. They use it to call patients to cancel/alter appointments mostly. They cannot leave messages on answerphones because of confidentiality issues.

This UK mobile number called my mobile and it was an automated voice saying it was about my "Visa OR Mastercard" (which one?) and that £600 had been spent on it 15 minutes ago. Press 1 to stop the payment. I did not press anything and hung up.
I could hear background sounds when I answered the call from this number but nobody said anything. I waited until the caller rang off after a few seconds.
Had a card through the door saying they are from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Court Bailiff Team - called the 01582 506 714 number and it just rings out. At the bottom of the card it says Albany Print and Design, HMP Isle of Wight....pretty certain this is fake!!!

Recorded message to say that I need to verify 2 payments (oress 1,2 or 3). Interestingly it stated my VISA card. I would not expect a call from Russia about card payments, so it must be a scam! Put phone down.
This number called and simply cut off when answered. Checked on here but there were no comments. Called the number to find it wasn't recognised, as per an earlier call from a different number. I can only assume these are scam calls.
I received a random phone call from this number, someone claiming to be Kevin Wilson, wanting to talk about the stock market. They knew my name, and my private phone number. Extremely invasive.

They have phoned my office number about 10 times and I haven't answered. Since my office number has voicemail it is rather surprising they haven't just left a message if they were a genuine caller. Therefore I believe these to be scammers. SCAM
