Pretends to be from BT. They already have some of your personal information to gain your confidence. They ask you to confirm a pass code that they send to your phone or email which gives them access to your BT account and more personal information. They then try to get you to log on to your computer etc.
I'm based in Queensland, Australia. These people have attempted to contact me on numerous occasions & are SCAMMERS/FRAUDSTERS claiming to be from the FINANCIAL CENTRE, a platform where Bitcoin is traded. They Stole approximately $50,000AUD from & there dodgy schemes & investments, they also stole in excess of $100,000 from a friend of mine. If anyone knows of these turkeys, please advise & i'll be happy to fly to London & destroy them.

They then demand to return box? herself within 3 working days to an address I didn't even catch they introduced themselves as being from Microsoft this call would have scared my mother had she taken it. Just had a call from this number. The other end sounded like a call centre, but no one spoke. Then it cut off. They rang me on my landline number.
I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.
